(My most popular post sidebar widget.  Screenshot by me, Hannah Mulder) This week for my tech tip I actually did not add a featured post to my sidebar because Blogger insisted that I already had one even though I do not, but trough this tech tip I figured out how to feature my most popular post, so I did that instead. I configured it to have only my topped viewed post from the last year. I also came up with a pretty witty name for the widget, or at least I thought it was.

Screenshot by me, Hannah Mulder) This week for my tech tip I read up on the changes Canvas made to the gradebook this semester. I also learned that I can view my grades by a number of different categories. I am not going to lie, I am the worst a using Canvas, so I actually learned something today. It took me all last semester to learn how to input a theoretical grade, if that tells y'all anything.

In this Tech Tip, I learned how to add an event in my own personal calendar on canvas for unofficial due dates.  I also added my Canvas calendar into my Google calendar. I did not know you could do so much with the Canvas calendar; I always just thought it was there for only official due dates of class assignments. It was interesting and helpful to find out I could add my own dates into the calendar and combine it with the other platforms of calendars that I use more often.   

(A picture of a random phone notification.  Photo by Tim Wilson ) For my last tech tip, I downloaded the Canvas app after deleting it because it was glitching last semester and would not let me sign in. I have the Canvas notifications turned off because I personally hate my phone blowing up constantly, and I get the same notifications through my OU email. Not having the notifications on is just my preference when it comes down to it. However, I do check canvas multiple times a day to see if I have missed anything that did not come through as an email notification.

I had it installed last semester, but near the end it kicked me out and refused to let me sign back in, so I just deleted it. I hate having extra apps on my phone, if they aren't being used!  I installed the app and the process was smooth, and so far this time around the app has not glitched. 

(A photo of my new widget. Screenshot by me.) This week I added a weather widget to my sidebar. I usually always have my blog page open on my computer, so it is nice and convenient for me to figure out the weather.  

I just created my first ever meme, if you would call it that, on Cheezburger. Here she is... Made on Cheezburger

(A picture of my new widgets. Screenshot by me) This week I have chosen to add two countdown widgets to my side bar. I added a countdown for days until summer break starts. For the second widget, I of course put a countdown widget for the return of Sooner football! I mean Boomer Sooner am I right!

(My new blog design. Screenshot by me) I have used the blogger template tech tip to change my blog design. I changed the theme to a more suitable theme for my personality. I personally love flowers and floral designs, so I changed my blog to a floral header and a simple body design. I also made all the text on the different parts of the blog page one font.
