My Indian Epic Storybook Favorites

There were so many storybooks and portfolios to choose from. I may or may not have gotten distracted by reading all of them, but here are three of my favorite storybooks and portfolios I have read.

The Karma Diaries
This storybook really caught my eye after I opened up the link. I feel like the title doesn't encompass the general idea of karma, as we know it. The introduction of it all presented a criminal scene, mixed with the traditional though of karma. I enjoy the criminal and mystery genre, so I ended up finding the cases presented in the project interesting. The layout and design of this project was simple, yet it was still appealing to reader.

The Epics of Food
The title of this storybook correlated well with the topic of the discussion. The design was pleasant to look at, and the web page was easy to navigate. The pictures along with the introduction of this storybook peaked my interest from the start. In my high school world geography class we used to bring "traditional" dishes from each part of the world we studied, and the pictures of the food reminded me of some of the dishes that were brought to class when we studied India. I was entertained by the stories because they informed me of traditional foods or important foods of India, yet they had amusing  backgrounds of some of the Gods.

Fairy Tale Case Files: India
This was actually a random project that was pulled up on the assignment page. However, I found the cover picture intriguing because it gave off an eerie, mysterious vibe, and as I have discussed before criminal justice and mystery is probably my favorite genre. The layout and navigation of the story book was very simple and easy to navigate. My favorite thing about this storybook was the fact that all the individual stories flowed together to make one big story.

Reading these storybooks gave me some idea of where I need to be heading, but I still have no idea on what topic I want to write about. I could write about the Indian culture, myths, traditions, Gods, or all the other endless options available.
