My Time Strategies
(Oklahoma Memorial Stadium.
I would consider myself a typical type A person. I have a certain system for everything in my life. I have been characterized as OCD every since I can remember; therefore, I am definitely not a procrastinator, but it has taken me a while to find time managing skills that suit me.
As a freshman in junior college, I took a semester long time management course, since then I have found many methods that suit me the best. My first method is to get a planner and plan everything out for the semester. My second method is to write out a to do list for the week ahead and then condense that down into the days of the week. Another thing that really helps me, is to plan out every hour of the day. I know this might seem excessive and yes there are some days this just does not happen on paper, but I at least try to plan it out in my head in the morning. I also found that when enrolling in classes, that having just one or no classes on two days of the week really gives me time to get my assignments knocked out.
The schedule I chose for this class fits nicely into my already made schedule. I will try to get everything done early on in the week, so I can get ahead on the next week, and of course so I can have time to do as much extra credit as possible.
